Outline of the Program Content:
This course will allow clinicians to have a better understanding of USN by gaining knowledge of the pathophysiology of USN, understanding assessment tools and the limitations used for USN, and learning the effectiveness of treatment interventions used for USN. Clinicians will be able to identify based on this knowledge which strategies might be most effective for treating their clients USN. Evidenced base information will be presented on assessment tools and treatment interventions.

A large portion of our adult clients suffer from a CVA involving USN. Evidenced based information will be presented to help clinicians know which assessments and interventions will be most valuable for their adult clients in the recovery of their patient who presents with USN.
