Saturday, September 19, 2026, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
Category: Great Plains West District
Attention Abilene and Surrounding Area Occupational Therapy Practitioners! We would love for you to join us for the 2026 Abilene Buddy Walk and help us celebrate inclusion, acceptance, and the many abilities of all individuals! Saturday, September 19, 2026 The Upside Down Club of Abilene works to build community support, awareness, inclusion, and acceptance for individuals with Down syndrome and people of all abilities. The annual Buddy Walk is a fun, family-friendly event where everyone is welcome to participate and celebrate the incredible individuals and families who make up our Down syndrome community. As occupational therapy practitioners, we have a special opportunity to support and advocate for participation, belonging, and inclusion for people of all abilities. We would love to see our local OT community represented at this wonderful event! How to Participate: And while you are at the Buddy Walk, be sure to stop by the Abilene Christian University Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) table and say hello! Thank you for supporting The Upside Down Club of Abilene and for helping create a community where individuals of all abilities are welcomed, valued, and included. We hope to see you at the Buddy Walk! Sincerely,
