Texas AOTA Representative

AOTA RepThe Representative Assembly (RA) is the body of the American Occupational Therapy Association which establishes professional policies and standards. It is your link to action on issues and concerns and concerns affecting occupational therapy. 

Each state has a person representing AOTA members in their state. The Representative for Texas is Judy Skarbek.  




Important deadline approaching regarding the OT and OTA mandates:

The 2018 Fall online meeting of the Representative Assembly will take place Monday, November 5 beginning at 12pm (noon) EST through Monday, November 12pm (noon) EST. If you would like to submit a motion regarding this issue, the motions are due by noon on September 24th.

Anyone who is a member of AOTA can write and submit a motion. If you need assistance writing a motion, you can contact our RA, Judy Skarbek at [email protected] or you can follow the instructions on the AOTA website. The guidelines are attached, however; it may require you to login to the AOTA website.
